I made local modifications to add a severity prefix (eg ERROR, WARNING, FATAL, ...) to all log messages. My monitoring program has an inotify on the log and scans for errors. I also have a php script which runs on my MASTER, which does a series of pmc requests to all slaves and gets their status including time offsets etc
Not very elegant, but I catch most problems - but I don't use phy2sys only ptp4l. Richard (H) -----Original Message----- From: Richard Cochran [mailto:richardcoch...@gmail.com] Sent: Dienstag, 3. That is a good question. Scraping logs is the only way ATM. This is obviously not convenient, but I haven't even tried to come up with a better way. I'm open to suggestions or, better yet, patches!
