In Section 6.2.4 of Automotive profile[1], it is mentioned that any device with 
a slave role should ignore signaling messages. Also, in general, this option 
will be useful to anyone who wants to explicitly disable signaling to make sure 
there are no unintentional/malicious changes to intervals.
