That depends on your needs.  The fault pauses the synchronization
process for 16 seconds while the fault clears.  (You can reduce the
fault period by configuration.)

By default the SW waits for one millisecond for Tx time stamps, but
some HW setups require longer.  If your system does need more time to
deliver Tx time stamps, then you can increase tx_timestamp_timeout
just as the message suggests.
