I was checking the other day to see if this full set of information was
available from any management message, it appears not to be. By full set I
mean the master offset and the servo state (s0 - s3 per ptp4l's internal
representation). Master offset *is* available in one message but not servo
state.

Have I overlooked the ability to assemble this information in a manner
other than examining ptp4l daemon's debugging output? Would the ability to
obtain this information from a management message be useful. Perhaps some
indication of the servo in use would also be informative?

I understand that the servos are left to PTP implementations and therefore
any management message of this type would necessarily need to be
implementation-specific as well.
