I am a software application engineer working for Intel on the TSN topic.
Covering for Industrial/Process automation customers that are willing to
use PMC interface to gather status of the time synchronization for their
stack and enable them to take actions upon the values received.
Looking for some story on that, i have also noticed that around 2020
there was one attempt to bring a pmc library to the community, which was
considered bad community practice.
As the use case and the license is still a topic for end customers, my
question would be:
Do you have any idea, recommendation, how this could be addressed?
Was a library external to linuxptp ever considered to be developed
for those cases?
