# ptp4l -S -f /etc/ptp-howto.conf
strace shows me a bit of SHM action:
# strace -o tmp ptp4l -S -f /etc/ptp-howto.conf
shmget(0x4e545032, 96, IPC_CREAT|0600) = 65538
shmat(65538, NULL, 0) = 0x7fc60af87000
