Unfortunately it covers a range of issues. It's difficult to distinguish the 
issue, so it's hard to get a more specific message here, as the symptom is the 
same at the application layer.

There were fixes to linuxptp, and the kernel, and drivers. So it's hard to know 
for sure which thing will fix your case.
