AFAICT, that is a long winded way of saying that the bridge should
become the GM.

linuxptp does not implement 802.1-AS Time Aware Bridge (TAB).

The p2p-tc mode is pretty close, but there are a few subtleties.  If
you are implementing a compliant TAB, then you will need to write a
new clock type along the lines of p2p_tc.c.
