Hi Richard,

When I tried to implement ptp4l service, I got error massage as below.

Oct 7 04:20:27 localhost ptp4l[17885]: [242799.030] port 1: FAULTY to
LISTENING on INIT_COMPLETE

Oct 7 04:20:34 localhost ptp4l[17885]: [242806.924] port 1: LISTENING to
MASTER on ANNOUNCE_RECEIPT_TIMEOUT_EXPIRES

Oct 7 04:20:34 localhost ptp4l[17885]: [242806.925] selected local clock
1402ec.fffe.04f911 as best master

Oct 7 04:20:34 localhost ptp4l[17885]: [242806.925] assuming the grand
master role

Oct 7 04:20:34 localhost ptp4l[17885]: [242806.926] send failed: 13
Permission denied

Oct 7 04:20:34 localhost ptp4l[17885]: [242806.926] port 1: send announce
failed

Oct 7 04:20:34 localhost ptp4l[17885]: [242806.926] port 1: MASTER to
FAULTY on FAULT_DETECTED (FT_UNSPECIFIED)

I have no idea what is really going on. How to debug this. I have given all
the permission to relevant files.

Or is this hardware fault of my network card ?
