The issue concerns the BCM54210E (or PE?) and the CM4 (a compute module derived from the RPi4) which is in the same family of chip as the BCM54213E (PE?) which is present. The stock linux (5.10) currently only exposes SOF_TIMESTAMPING_TX_SOFTWARE, yet the whole BCM5421xE family, I think, supports hardware timestamping. https://www.broadcom.com/products/ethernet-connectivity/phy-and-poe/optical/bcm5421xe Anyone here with more info on the matter?
