[Linuxptp-users] 3 announce messages to switch LISTENING to UNCALIBRATED

Hi team,
I noticed that ptp4l expects 3 announce messages to arrive before switching 
LISTENING to UNCALIBRATED on RS_SLAVE.
Can somebody point out why this is a requirement and if it’s possible to 
configure,
