Hello!

I got Ubuntu working on my laptop.
I got a 64 bit edition if you are  new to linux, then you probably
want to install 386 - waaay less problems, then if you gain some
experience can go to x64.
I don`t have Flash reader support on mine ( i don`t think there is
any cardbus support, especially for x64 edition), i don`t have WIFI
card either so i can`t help You with that, sorry.
But my experinece with Ubuntu on R3000 is very good, i tried Ubuntu
6 months ago on mine machine and left it as my primary linux
distribution, great support forum, a lot of documentation, great
community, i really recommend You this distribution.
