I had this problem on a different laptop I owned. I resoldered three
times the plug to the motherboard. I finally ended up using the more
radical soution of soldering wires to the motherboard instead, so I
could put the plug outside the laptop with a gluegun in a position that
avoids the torque. This extra trick may help.
