It is very hard to figure out what is going on when the program in question is only available in binary form. Furthermore Linux distros are not guaranteed to be binary compatible. (There is a project to allow binaries to be portable -- LSB -- but this seems very awkward.) This message isn't very clear. It is not grammatically correct English. Who knows what it could mean.
