Ok I did a few things.. first, the mouse does not work because one of the 4 contacts in the USB connector seemed to be chipped. So I bought a new mouse and have to return the other. That problem is solved.
As for SuSE and Gnome.. I installed 9.3 on my system and gnome loads up just fine. So I wiped out 9.3 and did a net install of 10 and gnome never finishes loading.. I went into the bootloader and passed option 3 so I can boot to a terminal.. then did startx but didnt see any obvious errors. Could it be the gfx card setup? I have a ATI Radeon Mobility 9000 and in sax2 its recognized as a ATI RS300 5835, my monitor I have setup as [EMAIL PROTECTED] and am running 1280x800 (WXGA) If I need to post log files, just tell me which ones. -Alex __________________________________________________ Do You Yahoo!?
