| I have a R3000..the R3038CL actually.. From what I'm
| reading there are 2 memory slots but I can only see
| one. My system reads 384megs yet I only have a 256
| meg stick.. Is there another slot I'm overlooking?

Yes. It has been described on the list, but apparently not on the
wiki. But from the wiki you can get the link to the "Maintenance and
Service Guide: Pavilion zv5000, Pavilion zx5000, Presario R3000, and
HP Compaq nx9100, nx9105, nx9010":
  http://h10032.www1.hp.com/ctg/Manual/c00212209.pdf

Have a look at section 5.13 (page 144). This "primary memory module"
is moderately hard to get to: you have to open up the notebook and
remove the keyboard to find the spot.

I'm surprised that you have only 128M there. The manual suggests that
the smallest memory they put there was 256.

BTW, I see your model has an Intel P4 CPU. This list is about the AMD64
models so what we know might not apply to your computer (the service
manual does cover Intel P4 models).
