I'm not really sure what's going on; and I kind of been ignoring it. cd's don't auto-mount for me, but my usb mouse and usb printer work fine.
I'm using 32 bit fc4 on a pavilion zv5440. I ran hald and checked messages and found some errors (below), but I don't know what else I should look at to track this down. I'm attaching error messages from /var/log/messages. Can someone tell me if they see the problem or what else I can do to track it down? messages: Mar 8 21:34:22 localhost hald[9893]: 21:34:22.424 [E] acpi.c:790: Couldn't open /proc/acpi/button/sleep: Error opening directory '/proc/acpi/button/sleep': No such file or directory (lots of these) Mar 8 21:34:22 localhost hald[9893]: 21:34:22.556 [E] device_info.c:342: Could not resolve keypath '@block.storage_device:storage.hotpluggable' on udi '/org/freedesktop/Hal/devices/computer' -j __________________________________________________ Do You Yahoo!?
