Of course you could do that, but in that case you would still "stream" from 
the ram disk, that is your voices (audio RT thread) would have to wait for 
the slower disk streaming thread to provide the sample data - an artificial 
bottle neck that is. So that's not an optimum solution. Better try the other 
two solutions for now to achieve max. polyphony.
