It is a torrent. I grabbed them the other night and they are quite good. I would recommend them on the free side.
Compared to the $1200 percussion library I have (SAMS True Strike 1 and 2) it is decent however much smaller and a bit less of quality, but really good! And of course the new piano samples on the linuxsampler page. There is as well a list here: http://www.coyotes.bc.ca/SampleFilesSource.htm There is a few free ones from SAMS: (these are awesome! however not many) http://www.projectsam.com/Free-Sounds/ Enjoy! P.S. I started off looking for free good samples and ended up spending thousands on pro samples :( Just the way it is out there for the most part but there is enough free stuff to make good music! ------------------------------------------------------------------------- This SF.Net email is sponsored by the Moblin Your Move Developer's challenge Build the coolest Linux based applications with Moblin SDK & win great prizes Grand prize is a trip for two to an Open Source event anywhere in the world http://moblin-contest.org/redirect.php?banner_id=100&url=/ _______________________________________________ Linuxsampler-devel mailing list Linuxsampler-devel@lists.sourceforge.net https://lists.sourceforge.net/lists/listinfo/linuxsampler-devel
