Hi again
After my latest stupid question maybe now one which is a bit more interesting...
After having some stability issues with the Ubuntu Studio Realtime-Kernel I
tried the BFS patch together with a brand new linux 2.6.31 kernel.
http://ck.kolivas.org/patches/bfs/bfs-faq.txt
Now I have the following problem. As described in the FAQ I try to start
linuxsampler as follows
$ schedtool -I -e linuxsampler
This works perfectly e.g. with Audacity but not with LinuxSampler:
LinuxSampler 1.0.0

Starting LSCP network server (0.0.0.0:8888)...Thread creation failed: You're
lacking permisssions to set required scheduling policy and parameters.
Without using schedtool it works (but linuxsampler is not as responsive as I'd
wish). It seems I have to change some policies, but where?
Has anyone got an idea?
Thanks a lot. Regards
Oliver
