I've posted in the forum about 2 settings, and add those comments here for info. (I've been experimenting with pushing LS limits in a larger scale setup.)
1. ProgrammeChangeQueue is currently limited to 100. I've tested this with a quick change in my CVS build to 512, with no ill effects. Can i ask this be changed to the greater number by default? (In a large work, midi is often sent at the beginning of the tune, or at start up of the app. This results in all PCs being sent at once, and at the current limit of 100, "floods" LS, resulting in missed changes, etc... The same is true for a full orchestra tutti, where there are a series of PC across many tracks, all in rapid succession. A few get missed) 2. A midi device has a limit of 100 ports. Could this be changed to 250 ports, if there are no obvious repercussions? I tried to add 116 ports to a device with no success.
