Hi Steph, I have not built the windows binaries in quite a while, but I did have a problem like this before and it was with my pkg-config configuration. Every time I opened the msys command prompt I had to do the 'export PKG_CONFIG_PATH=/usr/local/lib/pkgconfig' before doing anything else... it might not be the same problem, but worth looking into.
