thank you for the answer, i'm surprised that inode could have an influence but i have to admit i'm not a specialist of filesystems. For now i'm testing with a stripped down version with wav samples exported from the iso files. I'll probably move to the iso files later, so i'll report here wheter it works "okay" or not. Raphaël
