That step would be very significant for Linuxaudio users. Will be quite a thing. Would be pretty cool if you would do so. Along with SFZ it can become a popular tool to grab for when making music I think.

Contributions to other projects in the open source community sounds in theory better then it is in reality probably. Having said that, it wouldn't surprise me at all if contributions to linuxsampler will rise, especially on the SFZ and LV2 side of it.
