JOB DESCRIPTION

Research into new technologies on the Linux platform that can enhance
productivity for us or our clients. Obtain products, test them and
document for deployment.
Install and managing file, VPN, Email, DNS, Web, Application and
Backup servers across diverse environments and platforms.
Improving monitoring systems
Improving processes and scripts required to add functionalities and
improve productivity.
Setting up Firewalls and Managing them.
Providing support for workstations.
DESIRED PROFILE

The candidate must have experience in

Linux/Solaris/UNIX
Shell or Perl Scripting
TCP/IP
Firewalls

Skills in Database Management
Candidates with a development background will be preferred.
Excellent communications skills are required alongwith some software
development experience
