Hi Gopal, Well thats tricky, you can no longer create user ids with [.] in between.
i will advice the following create the users first like adduser yashpalnagar i.e without the dot in between (yashpalnagar). set the password, and then change the /etc/passwd and /etc/shadow to have user name like yashpal.nagar you need to change /etc/group as well to have group ids like yashpal.nagar Cheers!
