Hi all, I would like to eliminate the oprofile-devel rpm at some point from Fedora. This is mainly to eliminate some static library that Fedora discourages. The only thing that I know of that uses the static libraries is the eclipse OProfile plugin, eclipse-oprofile. Would it be possible to adapt the oprofile plugin to use the oprofile xml output and avoid using the static libraries?
