I pulled the source code from the git repository (stable-2.2 branch) and tested 
it and it worked fine except a little glitch on the parser side which I 
outlined in a different email.

Hi David,
Please compile and remove them yourself, test that it actually works (aka no 
*nix assumptions in the code) and propose the patch for inclusion once verified 
it works.
We would not enable installation on Windows blindly without being tested and 
none of the current contributors ever tried on Windows as far as I know. My 
memory with RPM plugin being used other platforms include things like fixing 
paths and etc. mostly.
I'm looking for your contributions.
