Is thus with Kepler? I just tried it on Ubuntu 13.10 and it was horrible. It's now default on Luna. The best solution would be to contribute fixes I guess. ;).

I had to set the environment variable SWT_GTK3=0 to make it work properly. This Ubuntu release is due for next week, so I guess that quite a few people will get the issue.
