Do you have a link to the specific addon?

FoxyProxy does the same, if I am understanding the functionality, it also
allows for wildcard (possibly regex) urls so you can filter traffic based on
certain patterns.  It puts a little spot in the bottom right that you can
click and choose another proxy.  I use it all the time, imo it is priceless
if you are in need of proxies
