We primarily use Centos at work - it gets the job done and you don't have to
deal with RedHat licensing, so that's a plus. kickstart+your own rpm repos
makes for quick and easy automated builds, as well. This perl thing made me
laugh, but we roll our own perl for production things so we weren't really
affected by it.

Seems RedHat is absurdly slow to fix some bugs in their system, I remember
reading about a bug in rpm that they refused to acknowledge and fix for over
two years. Good stuff.
