interestering article based on another thread we recently had. http://arstechnica.com/articles/paedia/mozilla-committed-to-gecko.ars
Gecko (what FF is based on) was designed around delivering more then just web content and webkit was designed as a light weight, fast rendering browser. Example: Firefox has the RSS features built into it where as Google offer sGoogle Reader google.com/reader for rss. Prior to Firefox the previous Mozilla was more then a browser. It included mail, newsgroup, and irc client. Different strokes for different folks is all it is. -Chris
