[LinuxUsers] RSS caching programs?

Anyone know of any caching programs (F/OSS preferably) that work well to 
view RSS feeds when not connected on the Internet?

I'm looking for something that would let me crank through my RSS feeds 
offline while on the plane.   Up to this point, I've been using Google 
Gears with Google Reader, but even that has it's limitations.

I looked for some sort of Thunderbird plugin but didn't find anything.
