I just got a g1 sunday. Was nonop the next day. Replaced it with a new unit and I'm loving it. I don't think I'm going to tamper much with it on the low level. It works now and I wanna keep it that way.

There are some things that I hope will get added, but I get much better service and the integration with Google products is worth the few pains i do experience. Mainly the battery, but I am never far from either a car charger, wall charger, or USB port. I had AT&T service before and I canceled that because the T-mobile service was far superior. I am of course in an entirely different location from most of you so that might not mean too much. If anything was better it might be the iphone, but I've never really used one and there are plenty of downsides to the iphone as well.
