Yes, OpenDNS allows you to select from several levels of blocking,
minor to extreme. As well you can customize it to add specific sites.

The only limitation is that home users generally get a DHCP address
from the ISP. To work around this OpenDNS has made a client (Windows
and Mac) which will keep their system up to date with your IP.

You can even customize the blocked page noticication with your own message.
