I've had inkjet printers from HP, Epson, Cannon and others. I have tried 3rd
party ink supplies in each one and have had one or both of these problems: 1)
low yield per cartridge 2) blacks are not dark enough. So I started to not get
the 3rd party ink and only go with the printer manufacturer's ink. A few years
ago, I went with a color laser printer. Now I don't have to worry about ink and
the toner seems to last forever. I can print 1000s of pages with one toner
cartridge instead of 100s with an ink cartridge.

My suggestion is to forget about some website and wondering if it is shady or
not and get a laser printer. In the long run it is cheaper.

Chris

Subject: [LinuxUsers] printer ink

for those of you who know how to check out websites, can you tell me it this
one looks legitimate:

http://www.inkreviews.com/

They say they are non profit. does it look like a scam: just trying to direct
trafic:

I have heard that one should always use original equipment manufacturer ink,

and you just can't get good ink from aftermarket.

What say y'all. Can anyone recommend good ink supplier for cannon printers. (i
series: i560)

Thanks
Paul
