Hello, As many of you know my family and I are moving to El Paso mid July. I missed last months meeting due to festivities for my wifes graduation from UC Irvine and I will be out of town when this months meeting would normally occur (6/27). i thought about moving the SRCLE meeting up one week so that i could attend but as Davids SRCLUG meeting is this weekend it would put the two just to close together. As well I may be out of town on the 20th and wouldn't be able to attend that weekend either.
Since SRCLE will continue on after I've moved I figured it best to just let the meeting go on this month in my absence without trying to schedule it to my availability. Trevor/Mr. Echo has offered to take the reins of SRCLE. i believe Trevor will do a great job. I do want to add that this is a community driven group so please participate and speak up if you have an ideas to help SRCLE evolve and become better. I may attend future meetings on rare occasion. I believe I will be traveling to socal every now and then so its possible. I will still be participating on this mailing list after I move. It does run on my server after all. I am planning a get together at my house some time after the holiday and before my family and I leave. Everyone from SRCLE/SRCLUG is invited. Grill up some food and hang out one evening. Just a chance to say goodbye to everyone we've met in socal. Once more boxes are packed and a few other things determined I will send a formal announcement. -Chris
