I have the OpenDNS IPs set in my router. I suppose that might be an issue... as it is an old Netgear 614 that seems to be dying out a bit, it frequently drops the wireless network.

As far as Adblock or some other thing possibly interfering, I have tried other browsers both in Linux and MS Windows and the issue is still prevalent.

I think I will give setting the DNS locally on the PC a shot in the meantime.

Interesting... I use OpenDNS here too, also on TWC, and it works great. Do you have their IPs set directly on your computer or are you relaying requests through the router?

    Hey all,

I have been using OpenDNS for many years now, but recently have
been having a lot of problems. Many very common webpages do not
resolve (e.g. abc.com <http://abc.com>) or load very slowly. I am
interested to know if there are any other popular alternative DNS
out there? I have Time-Warner cable internet service and their DNS
    is really horrible.

    Thanks.
