I use ubuntu netbook remix (9.04) + the scripts found here: http://forum.eeeuser.com/viewtopic.php?id=65606

I have the 1000 model and modified the keys a bit (up arrow keys + shift key modifications). I have no O/S related issues running 9.04, fwiw. -g On Fri, Jun 26, 2009 at 11:15 AM, Jeff Lasman <[email protected]> wrote: > I'm going to convert my eeePC (model 1000) to a version of ubuntu over > the weekend, removing the default installation. > > To help me choose which one ... > > If you run a version of ubuntu on your eeePC please post which one, and > why you chose it, and any problems you know of in using it. > > Thanks! > > Jeff > -- > Jeff Lasman, Nobaloney Internet Services > P.O.
