Just got my Google Voice invitation yesterday and set up my account...
it rocks. For those who haven't heard about it, it's essentially an
advanced online PBX that integrates seamlessly with POTS and mobile
phones.

Extremely useful and disruptive technology, just like Chrome OS could
end up being.

Some cool features:

a) Transcribes voice mails to searchable text
b) In-Call transfer from one phone to another
c) Conferencing
d) Forwarding
e) Do-not-disturb mode
f) Call screening (and you can actually hit a number on phone during
call to mark it as spam!), whitelisting, blacklisting

Other stuff... I played with this for a couple of hours yesterday,
more fun than I've had in a while with any application.
