While looking for an iPhone app, I was glad to actually see that RSA has
an app now strong extended authentication. (I already have something
like that setup via PayPal and I've seen programs like the following for
free.)

But I was wondering if anyone has seen any open source versions,
particularly ones that can easily connect to cellular phones via SMS
messages.
I see Sourceforge projects that do the following individual things, but
none that offer one complete package (and the ones that kind of do look
like they're very half baked)
--SMS-to-SMTP gateway
--libraries to build token based out-of-band authentication systems
--certificate authority projects, like CACert (fairly easy to use,
though documentation isn't easy for those unfamiliar with PKI)
--etc
