I've joined the list recently and figured I should give an introduction.
My name is Jim Gifford, I'm the lead developer of the cross-lfs project.
My team specializes in creating a base Linux System from Source code. We
have 3 different variants in the works.
Standard - Which is the same as distro, but cross-compiled to an
architecture
Sysroot - Which is the same as distro, is an alternative build method
for standard (very experimental)
Embedded - Which is for embedded systems (early in development)
I'm based in Fontana, California, and I work a company called EDS(an HP
company) as a network engineer.
