I helped a friend, who is in the USMC, get his Compaq laptop switched from vista to ubuntu.
He has now moved to another location, and is having trouble with his wireless networking. The place he's staying is supposed to have free wifi, but he is unable to get connected. So far, I have him heading to the office tomorrow to get the SSID for the company wireless. Since he supposedly unable to get connected. Once that happens, are there any other things I can do to help me get online via wireless? Thanks -- Rodney D.
