I'm revisiting this issue; we've go the latest 32-bit 9.10 Ubuntu, and we're
having a problem installing both of the two wireless thingies we've tried.

1) Belkin Wireless Pre-N Notebook Network Card (with it's adapter to fit into
a standard PC)

2) D-Link DWA-125 usb-port-based thumb-thingey. It uses RALink RT-2870
chipset (I think).

I'm going to try tonight to get something installed from this page:

http://www.apfelkraut.org/2009/02/howto-wlan-ralink-rt2870-usb-stick-
kubuntu-810/

Though we're using ubuntu, not kubuntu, it should/may work.

If it doesn't I think I'd rather buy a known-good adapter instead of spending
a lot of time.

Any ideas of what works with 32-bit Ubuntu 9.10?

Thanks.

Jeff
