Hm, I am using the graphical login, but there is a drop-down menu to choose the layout, so it should just work.... > While logged in as the original user you could open a terminal/shell > and "su otherusername" and try to login that way to make sure it > works. It did work that way, but no matter what I did, the 6-character password didn't work with Ubuntu's GUIs. I don't know why.
