Ok first off its not cool to bogart the socallinux.org domain for our group. So I have registered rclug.org Riverside County LUG, because that is who we really are.
The socallinux.org site will be a general site for all Linux things in socal. LUG's, conferences and ect. Now the mailing list is a different story, for now its going to stay active. I don't see a reason to shut it down. But there will be a new mail list for rclug.org. I still will post announcements here. Second issue: Our meeting turn outs have been very low. so I would like to change it to the last Wednesday night of the month, somewhere in Riverside city, or around that area. I need to know what you think. This will hopefully bring in people from Temecula to San Bernardino, the whole valley. The weekend is hard for alot of people, sometimes the only time they can see their family. Or have a life outside of Linux. If you know of a place where we could hold the meetings please let me or David know. Im going to try to be more pro active with our LUG, I know Riverside has alot of Linux users, we just need to find them, and them to find us.
