JIRA is an incredibly powerful piece of software and is a joy to use. No
arguments there.

For personal projects, I'm currently using Redmine for issue management.
It does have GNATT chart,
roadmap/milestones, which are very useful. I suppose I should do some
more work in MS Project and
see what I like/dislike. I have used MS Project a few times (once as the
PM and 2 or 3 as participant)
and been happy with it.
