I was about to say....super-OT.... But while we're here, we may as well have an interesting discussion! The LUG isn't completely without off-topic, interesting discussion....I'd hope!! It's interesting enough that the guy thinks of the planet as one organism--but I suppose anyone with enough time on their hands could say that. Everything is connected, after all. No one part of the planet is completely unaffected by the others. The idea that we simply cannot save it, too, has some merit, but should we stop trying because of that possibility? We cannot, perhaps, absolutely salvage the planet, but we could perhaps fend off its destruction for a while!
