I guess it's been awhile since I last needed to edit my grub. I normally remove old kernel entries and like to keep a clean bootup menu with at most 3 or 4 entries. > /boot/grub/grub.cfg > This is the main Grub 2 file. Being one that does quite a bit of "Distro" hoping, I remember somewhere along the line running into a nice graphical boot entry editor. It would than write your grubs menu.lst for you. After reading that link you posted, I wonder if I'll have to redo my fix after every kernel update. I just might reinstall again and this time go into the advance menu during the install to select the appropriate drive in the grub install screen. --Manny _______________________________________________ LinuxUsers mailing list LinuxUsers@socallinux.org http://socallinux.org/cgi-bin/mailman/listinfo/linuxusers
