I guess it's been awhile since I last needed to edit my grub.  I
normally remove old kernel entries and like to keep a clean bootup
menu with at most 3 or 4  entries.

Thanks Chris for the info.

Being one that does quite a bit of "Distro" hoping, I remember
somewhere along the line running into a nice graphical boot entry
editor. It would than write your grubs menu.lst for you.

After reading that link you posted, I wonder if I'll have to redo my
fix after every kernel update.  I just might reinstall again and this
time go into the advance menu during the install to select the
appropriate drive in the grub install screen.
