It is hosted on Local servers in Chicago but uses IE as the conduit. One of my clients is in SC and the other is in the Chicago area but neither of them are on the corporate net nor do the VPN in. Both unfortunately work out of their homes and travel a lot.
The app to me looks like someone was lazy and didn't want to write a real program so used ActiveX This company has centers/offices all over the US and use this app to transfer financial data. When I saw the settings honestly it set me back that they would do this when it comes to account info.
